First international trip ever!! (yes, during the pandemic, but hey, we made it!)

May 11, 2021 the day we bought our first international plane tickets! Yes, we watched this deal for about a week before biting the bullet. Two people flying to Greece for the price of one was just too good to pass up (shout out to my friend Katie for introducing me to Scott’s Cheap Flights! You can read about Katie’s adventures here).

Never having even been on a plane before, I had no idea where to start, but we made it through (yes, my first flight was a 9 hour overnight flight halfway across the world). Four months to plan a ten day vacation in a pandemic with Caleb not even having a passport, it was a challenge, but I was up for it.

Little did I know, during these four months of planning, a new coronavirus variant would make headlines meaning travel bans could a thing again and passport delays would become a MASSIVE issue.

A new adventure, opening new doors and learning new things. It was a short time in a new place jam packed with lots of fun things and I couldn’t be more excited to share this most recent journey and all of the future ones with you! 💙
