United Preps for Increased Travel Summer 2023
United Airlines is getting ready for even more travel in the summer of 2023 by adding more transatlantic flights including stops at three new destinations!
United is taking off to 37 cities across Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East next summer. New routes include service to Malaga, Spain, Stockholm, Sweden and Dubai, UAE plus an additional six flights to some of Europe's hottest destinations like Rome, Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin and Shannon.
In addition to these new routes, United will fly nine routes it added last summer including direct flights between New York/ Newark and Nice; Denver and Munich; Boston and London Heathrow; Chicago/ O'Hare and Zurich; and Chicago O'Hare and Milan, plus United is the only North American airline sending flights to Amman, Jordan; Azores, Portugal; Palma de Mallorca, Spain and Tenerife, Spain.
United says they saw historic travel demand to Europe during summer 2022 peak travel with numbers up 20% compared to 2019 and adding these flights will help take more people to even more parts of the world.
